Cycle training can help you improve your riding skills, giving you the confidence to cycle safely.

Free Adult Cycle Training

Wiltshire Council have a limited number of free places available for adult cycle training, whether you are a complete beginner, returning to riding after a long break or simply looking to build your skills and confidence riding in traffic.

The sessions consist of up to 2 hours of bespoke tuition with a qualified Bikeability instructor at a time and place to suit you. You are welcome to take part on your own, or with up to 2 other friends or family members of similar cycling ability. (Subject to current Covid restrictions. All participants must be aged 18 or over.) You will need to bring your own cycle and helmet, although we may be able to arrange a loan cycle. Further sessions beyond the initial 2 hours may be available if you wish, but you would need to arrange this privately with the instructor.
