Wiltshire Connect in the Marlborough & Hungerford area

Experience a new way to travel

Wiltshire Connect is a convenient and flexible bus service that operates in parts of Wiltshire. Our on-demand service allows you to book your ride in advance up to 7 days ahead and on the day with 30 minutes notice (subject to vehicle availability).

When can I use the service?

Book rides within the shaded areas on the maps below. Operating hours are 6am-8pm Monday-Friday and 8am-7.30pm Saturdays. Rides within Marlborough & Hungerford are generally not permitted.

Pick up locations

Our vehicles can pick up and alight in a number of locations in Marlborough including the High Street and Tesco.  In Hungerford, pick up and alight points include Church Street, Tesco, the Railway Station and Garden Centre.  Local journeys within Marlborough and Hungerford are not permitted.

Timetabled services

In addition to our on-demand service, Wiltshire Connect operates a number of timetabled and semi-flexible services in the Marlborough area. These services are:

  • Service 100: Devizes to Marlborough
  • Service 101: Devizes to Pewsey
  • Service 110: Marlborough-Bedwyn-Hungerford
  • Service 210: Figheldean-Devizes (Thursday only)
  • Service 211: Wilton-The Graftons-Marlborough (Weds only)

You can board these services without booking at most locations. However, some services have flexible sections of route with bookable stops.

Get active with Wiltshire Connect

You can use Wiltshire Connect bus services to explore rural Wiltshire and there is a range of activities in the Pewsey Vale which can be enjoyed. Pictured are members of the Pewsey Vale Running Club, using Wiltshire Connect to access the start point of an evening run in the vale. You don`t have to run of course – If you are planning to go on a walk or do stages of a long distance route, why not use the Wiltshire Connect service to give you a lift!
