The State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday 19th September 2022 and this date has been declared a National Bank Holiday.
Please note that buses will be running to Sunday timetables on this date. Therefore, bus routes that do not normally operate on a Sunday will not be running on 19th September.
Some bus operators (Salisbury Reds and Stagecoach) will be allowing their drivers the opportunity to watch the funeral. As such, a break in service will occur at the time the funeral is taking place. It starts at 11:00, so the gap will typically be around 10:30-12:30 but will depend on the length of each route and the proximity of depot locations. During this time, drivers will return to depot and be given the opportunity to watch the event. Further information will be available on the Salisbury Reds and Stagecoach websites.
