Paying for parking
You can pay for your parking in any Wiltshire Council car park using MiPermit. MiPermit allows you to pay for your parking with a credit or debit card, rather than using cash at a machine. This can be done by text from your mobile or online via the portal.
You can find more information about using cashless parking on the Wiltshire Council car parking pages.
Blue badges are available for certain disabilities to help with parking and access. Blue badge holders can either be the driver or the passenger of a vehicle they are travelling in.
The Blue Badge is not a licence to park anywhere. If you park where it would cause an obstruction or danger to other road users you could be fined or receive a parking ticket or have your vehicle removed.
Blue Badges do:
- allow drivers or passengers with severe mobility problems to park close to where they need to go.
- provide a range of on-street parking concessions.
Blue Badges do not:
- apply to off-street car parks, like supermarkets and hospitals, or privately owned roads.
