Travelling to and from the airport

Whether you’re visiting Wiltshire or locating your business here, there are close connections to airports in Bristol, Southampton and Bournemouth.

Travelling by bus or train to the airport can save you money on parking charges and can be a lot less stressful.

Remember that you can save money on rail fares with advance tickets and rail cards which are available for families, two people travelling together, 16-25 year olds,  and people over 60.

Instead of flying you can also check out:

  • National Express  for routes within the UK and Europe via coach and ferry.
  • Megabus for routes within the UK and Europe via coach and ferry.
  • Eurostar for routes to and from Europe by train. It takes around 5 hours to travel from Paris to Salisbury or Chippenham by train.
  • National rail for routes within the UK.
  • Loco2 helps you book rail travel across the UK and Europe

If you don’t want to risk getting stuck in a traffic jam or waiting in an airport lounge, why not take a holiday in Wiltshire ?
