Cycle maps and routes
There are lots of quiet roads and off-road routes to help you explore Wiltshire, many of which have maps available.

Make sure you keep up to date with the rules of the road.
You can use our journey planner to find quieter routes in rural areas. Our journey planner can be used on mobiles. Cycling UK provides a full list of apps including journey planner, GPS route-recording and mountain bike routes.
There may also be Rights of Way and permissive paths that you can use:
- The Rights of Way map – cycling is allowed on bridleways and byways
- Permissive paths – make sure you check whether walking or cycling is permitted on these Wiltshire paths
