From 1 January 2025 the price of single bus fares will the capped at £3. However, fares for short journeys will be less, while if you are making longer journeys some bus companies sell return tickets, which offer better value.
If you are making lots of journeys in one day a rover ticket might be best, either for one bus company, or for the whole of Wiltshire and to towns in neighbouring areas.
If you are travel often, then a multi-journey or season ticket could offer you best value.

Councillor Tamara Reay, cabinet member for transport, said “Most Wiltshire will have a maximum single fare of £3 from January, which represents great value to travel to work, to explore our beautiful county, or as an alternative to taking the car.”
