Maintenance will close the rail line between Templecombe and Yeovil Junction from Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 June,  it has been scheduled at this time in order to minimise disruption.

In December 2019 a landslip occurred between Templecombe and Yeovil Junction during Storm Katie. In the interest of passenger safety, temporary speed restrictions were imposed on both lines between the two stations.

Between Saturday 13 and Sunday 21 June, engineers will conduct earthworks to strengthen the railway’s embankments and remove the speed restrictions. When complete, trains will be able to run at normal speeds between Templecombe and Yeovil Junction.
