TransWilts have launched a new cycle hire scheme at Melksham rail station. Using the bike hire app, you can rent a bike from just £2.50 per hour with a maximum £15 charge per day.
There are a number of short and long-distance cycle rides from the station, including National Cycle Network Route 4 from Bath to Reading along the Kennet & Avon Canal Path.
